Development Level of the Technology on EJAM New Technology

1. Introduction

All the technologies described in EJAM New Technology must be categorized into three phases based on their development/application phase as shown below. Authors are required to state its technology phase, as indicated on "New Technology Format."

2. Level of development/application

1) Phase 1 : Research and Development Phase

Its effectiveness and influence are confirmed in its own institution only; No application yet.

2) Phase 2 : Industrial Confirmation Phase

Its effectiveness and influence are confirmed by a third party in industry.

3) Phase 3 : Publicly-accepted Phase

Its effectiveness and influence are publicly accepted by standardization or guidelines, or equivalent, or actual application to commercial plant.
